KEAM counseling is also conducted by the Office of the Commissioner of Entrance Exam through CAP (Centralised Allotment Process).
Registration for KEAM counseling
After the result announcement, a rank list is prepared based on marks scored in the entrance test as well as the 12th examination.
To appear in the KEAM counseling process students must have to register themselves through the official portal after the result announcement.
Entry Of choices
After the successful registration, students will have to log in on the portal and fill in the choices which will be displayed in the portal through the CAP.
There will be many colleges and streams that students will have to choose from there as per their choice.
Review of choice
After completing the choice section candidate should review all choices before final submission. This is because if you make any mistakes then you can change that.
Trail Seat allotment
Commissioner of Entrance Exams (CEE) allows a trail seat allotment before the finishing of entry choice during the first phase of seat allotment.
Trail seat allotment gives an idea about the seat allotment process So that students can be familiar with the allotment process.
Trail seat allotment will not be considered as a permanent seat, the students must have to wait till the final seat allotment result.
The final seat allotment result will be released by the official CEE.
KEAM Counselling Steps
The KEAM counseling process is done in four-round steps, So the student can participate in the counseling process as per their rank.
If a student does not get a seat allotted in the first round then he can apply for the second round, third round, and fourth round.
If you have got a seat till the fourth round, you have to confirm that seat by filling the fee of that particular seat as per college demand.
If you don’t get a seat till the final round then there is a mop-up round, which is one type of KEAM counseling to fill the vacant seats that remain.
Document Verification
This is the final step in KEAM counseling. When a seat is allotted to you and you made the payment for that seat then after that you have to get your documents verified.
