IISER Pune
The IISER Maharashtra is a government (public) institute situated in Pune. It was established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development in 2006. It is a research and education institute in the city Pune.
The institute ranked 24th in NIRF which was overall, 16th for research category in India. The admission in this college is through KVPY and JEE. There are around 1,654 seats in this institute.
As a unique initiative the IISER Pune compels to be a science university for the students having genius mindset. The institute aims to devote research and teaching in a totally integrated manner.
The IISER Pune runs a program named BS-MS which is for 5 years and a PHd programme also. In an intellectual and vibrant atmosphere of research.
The institute helps students to build their skills like problem solving, scientific inquiry, communication skills, computational sciences, electronics and instrumentation and workshop practices.
