Is my JEE 2020 score only valid for IITs in India?
The Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) has established a Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) to regulate the admission process for various Universities of Engineering through IIT JEE 2020.
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2020–

JEE is held at two levels in India-JEE Main and JEE Advanced. The JEE exams are held to determine admissions to various coveted colleges in India- 32 NITs, 18 IITs,and 18 Government Funded Technical Institutes.

The admissions to all these institutes are determined by their All India Rank (AIR). How it works is that depending upon how a student scores in his JEE Main test and in the case a student is looking for admission to NITs and some GFTIs, how he scores in his boards, he is allotted a rank which decides the colleges that he may apply to.

The JEE main examination, therefore, is valid for admission in various institutions other than the IITs. However, it must be noted that in order to get admission to an NIT or Government Funded Technical Institute, all Indian and NRI students must have a minimum score of 75% in the board examination.

There are two major determining factors for admissions- the JEE main score (All India Rank) and the category of student-there is more relaxation for students belonging to the backward community-usually mentioned in the prospectus of colleges that one is seeking admission to.

The JEE Advanced examination tests students for their admission to the IITs. The manner for admission to IITs is solely how a student fares in his IIT advanced.
JEE Advanced 2020 IITs Colleges-
Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are fully independent public higher education institutions located in India. They are governed by the 1961 Institutes of Technology Act, which declared them to be institutions of national importance and sets out their powers, duties and governance framework. The 1961 Institutes of Technology Act lists twenty-three (23) institutes.
JEE Advanced qualifying is a strength to itself for Indian and NRI students and those who qualify for this exam may go to these prestigious IITs colleges.
