After noticing the growth of foreign students in NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, and IITs, more opportunities have been given to the NRIs. For this, JEE Centers have opened in foreign countries so that students who reside in foreign can give their JEE Main Exam easily.

The center is a venue where the JEE Exam is held as per the instruction issued by the NTA. NTA has been increasing the JEE Exam Centers each year so that every student can easily reach his/her center on exam day. There is a total of 12 Exam center increases as compared to the last year.

JEE Exam Centers Abroad | JEE Centers Outside India

Approximately 24 JEE test centers are available outside India specifically for NRI (Non-Resident Indian) students. This international network of test centers allows NRI candidates to conveniently take their JEE exams abroad. This initiative aims to provide accessibility and flexibility for NRI students who aspire to pursue engineering education in India. Amendments in JEE Main Exam Centres

Let’s know some amendments in JEE Main exam centers:

  • The online-based test will be held in 2 shifts.

  • The students decided for a computer-based test is considered to choose the exam date at the time of filling the JEE Main application form. Moreover, the dates offered to these students depend on a first-come-first-served basis. Therefore, it is recommended not to waste much time to apply. In some cases, the students who don’t indulge in the selection process earlier will be allotted dates randomly.

  • The students for JEE are restricted to enter the wrong information while filling up the application forms in terms of dates and mode of examination. If students even unintentionally do this, they will consider their cancellation of candidature. Moreover, the results of these candidates will be withheld.

Documents Required at the JEE Main Exam Center

The following documents are required to be presented to the JEE Main Exam Centre:

  • Print a copy of the Admit Card that has been downloaded from the NTA website. 
  • During the test, one passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) should be taken for pasting into the particular space in the Centre's attendance sheet. 
  • Any authorized photo ID (must be original, valid and non-expired) — PAN Card / Driving License / Voter ID / Passport / Aadhaar Card (with photograph) / Ration Card with photograph / 12th Class Board Admit Card with photograph / Bank Passbook with photo. 
  • PwD certificate issued by the certified medical officer, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category for NRIs
