DASA 2022-23: Eligibility Criteria
All applicants need to be meet the eligibility criteria to apply under the DASA 2022 Scheme.
So eligibility factors like Age, Residential Status, Academic eligibility, Marks required in 12th. & JEE Main are checked.

Applicant must be born after Oct 1, 1995 |
Residential Status |
NRIs, PIOs, and OCIs & Foreign Nationals residing and studying abroad for the last 2 years are allowed to apply. |
Academic Eligibility |
An applicant must have qualified 11th and 12th grade from a foreign school abroad A minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA in the 12th grade is mandatory to become eligible. The applicant that has appeared for the 12th-grade exams and is likely to get results by Sept 15, 2022, can also apply. |

If you are from a Middle Eastern Country then you might also be eligible for another scheme called CIWG.
Will you be applying for DASA / CIWG 2022 or years after that? You must then prepare for JEE Main.
What’s CIWG?
CIWG stands for Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf.
Countries that fall under CIWG are Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Iran, and Iraq. The NRI applicants who fall into this category must submit their proof of either parent working in a Gulf/Parent Visa/Parents work permit/Certificate from the organization parent has been working for.
The total numbers of admissions under the DASA scheme are over 2500. I.e. 1/3rd quota of admissions are allotted to Children of Indian Workers in Gulf (CIWGs) & 2/3rd quota admissions are allotted to Non-CIWG scheme (UG students from the rest of the world).

Residential Eligibility:
All Foreign Nationals residing in any country including India or Indian Nationals studying abroad that fulfilled the above-mentioned admission criteria shall be eligible.
NRI/PIO/OCI is eligible for DASA scheme if an applicant finishes his 11th and 12th grade in any foreign country in the last 8 years.
If you hail from any of the below-mentioned Gulf Countries, you are eligible for the CIWG scheme. The countries list is as follows:
