JEE Main Dress Code And Article Banned In Exam Hall
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main Exam 2019) is scheduled from tomorrow by The National Testing Agency (NTA) i.e 6 January 2019 to 20 January 2019 in 258 towns across the country. This year more than 9 lakh candidates are appearing in this examination. At the same time, all the aspiring candidates must have received information regarding their examination center location and timings in their admit card.
If any candidate is perturbed by the fact that whether any particular dress code is applicable for the examination or not? Let us tell you that no official notice concerning the NTA dress code has yet been issued.
Dress Code
Try to wear the formals in JEE Main exam dress. This is the first time the examination has been carried out in winter. If we talk about the JEE Main Examination in April, wearing light and loose clothes is preferable.
Since JEE Main is organized twice a year, the number of students who are going to take the JEE MAIN exam in this January is much lower than the previous year. Last year (2018) 11.5 lakh students had applied, while this year ( 2019) in January only (9.5 lakh) candidates have applied for this examination.
Documents Need To Carry

Take the color print out of the admit card from the official website in the A4 size paper. If you haven't downloaded the admission card yet, download it from the official – jeemain.nic.in website.

Take one recent passport size photograph that you will have to paste on the attendance sheet before the exam in your respective exam centers. Take the exact same photograph that you posted in the JEE main application form with you.

Candidates should not forget to carry their pen card, driving license, original voter identification card, original Aadhar card photocopies.

Applicants in the PWD category must carry a certificate. If they fail to show the certificates they won't receive any benefit or privilege.
JEE Mains 2019: Items Prohibited

Edibles or even water bottle is not allowed in the examination center,

The candidates cannot carry their phones or watches in the exam centers. If found guilty the applicant may be debarred,

Receipt for Aadhaar registration is not allowed without Aadhaar number,

Mobile ID- proof photos are not valid. Carry the Original Documents With You,

Do not carry any stationery items such as pen pencil, pencil box, etc. in any way,

Do not carry any ID card issued by the school, coaching, and university, they are not acceptable as a valid proof.

Any electronic gadget such as the mobile, calculator, camera, magnetic recorder and different stuff in the examination center is strictly prohibited.

Diabetic candidates will be allowed to eat and drink during the JEE Main examination center only after showing a prescription, they can take their medicines, fruits (bananas, apples, oranges) however candidates will not be allowed to have any junk food such as chocolate, sandwiches, or candy in the exam centers.

Requisite pen and paper will be provided by the examination center for rough paperwork.
