UPESEAT 2021-22 Exam for Candidates
UPESEAT stands for University of Petroleum & Energy Studies Engineering Aptitude Test. UPESEAT 2021 will be conducted by the University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES) from 8th to 15th May.
Clearing JEE Main will also give you the eligibility to take admission in Indian engineering colleges
Indian and NRI Candidates who wish to be admitted to the B.Tech programs offered by the Institute will be required to apply for the examination if they meet the UPESEAT 2021 eligibility criteria set by the Institute. UPESEAT 2021 application form is now available in online mode.
NRI and Indian Candidates who successfully pass the exam will be required to attend UPESEAT 2021 counseling along with the documents required for the purpose of the examination.
NRI students can take admission in Indian engineering colleges through DASA/CIWG & NRI Quota.

The Institute offers candidates admission through centralized counseling in B.Tech programs on the basis of three channels: UPESEAT, JEE Main Score or Class 12th.
All Indian and NRI Candidates are given the seat after positive verification of the document
Admission to the B.Tech programs will be 80(%) percent of the seat intake by UPESEAT. For the non-examination entry-JEE Main or Class 12 merit, the remaining 20(%) percent of seats will be.

UPESEAT Eligibility Criteria 2021-22 (Indian Students /Non Resident Indians (NRI) / PIO/OCI)
Non-resident Indians (NRIs) or Non-resident Indian dependents who have studied and passed qualification exams from schools or colleges outside India are defined as International Students and are entitled to enroll in this category.
NRI study dependents in India are not defined as NRI / International students.
Indian & NRI Students must meet minimum eligibility requirements as set out at UPES for their chosen program.
UPES must be satisfied that applicants applying for admission to undergraduate programs must have obtained a higher certificate of secondary school (with a minimum percentage of marks as prescribed) and have taken the necessary courses to meet the eligibility criteria for the admission education program.
For admission to a postgraduate program at UPES, the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) shall obtain the equivalence for the Undergraduate Degree earned by the candidate in his / her country.
VISA and Mandatory Registration
VISA
- Until moving to India, international students who wish to study in India must obtain a valid Student Visa.
- Please make inquiries at your country / country's Indian Consulate / Embassy / High Commission to decide the correct procedure for obtaining the requisite visa for the study period of your program at UPES. More inquiries into the length of time needed to obtain the visa should be made.
REGISTRATION

Through rule, all foreign students are required to register with the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO)/local police authorities under the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India's regulation. Generally, this must be within 14 days of arrival in India but please check this information before departure with your Consulate / Embassy / High Commission as these rules are subject to change.

Students must comply with the visa rules and requirements for registration and keep up to date of any changes. Accordingly, it is the duty of students to ensure their visas are valid throughout the study period at UPES and to maintain their registration with the FRRO / local police.

Students may apply to UPES for preliminary enrollment formalities in Dehradun.

UPESEAT 2021 Application Form
UPESEAT 2021 application form is now available in online mode. Candidates can now send the required details to apply for the exam. Once the applicants have met the UPESEAT 2021 eligibility criteria, they are asked to submit their applications for the test. The final filing date for the proposal is May 3, 2021.

When you submit your online application, you will be asked to pay a non-refundable USD 75 transaction processing fee . credit card / payment gateway https://www.upes.ac.in/upes-international-admissions
Additionally, you can use bank transfer to pay the application fee. If you choose this payment method, please send the scanned copy of the receipt given to you by the bank to the [email protected] E-mail ID and confirm your name, the program applied for and the contact number.

Step 3-Issuance of the Admission Letter / Visa Letter
The University shall determine the eligibility of the applicant for their program of choice upon successful submission of the application and issue an Offer of Admission Letter which may be used to apply for a visa to study at UPES.
Computing Systems
Each incoming student must be equipped with a laptop that meets the minimum UPES requirements-details available on the www.upes.ac.in UPES website.
