Alliance University (AU) is a state private university in Karnataka, located at Bangalore on an extensive state-of-the-artcampus. Recognized by UGC, it offers a variety of degree courses.
The University has baccalaureate concentrations, postgraduate offerings, doctoral degree programmes and many other professional certificate programmes.
Entrance Test
AU conducts Alliance University Engineering Entrance Test (AUEET) for those aspirants who wish to seek admission to the Engineering courses in the first year or lateral entry in the second year.
The fee for undergraduate engineering course is Rs. 6 Lakhs which includes just registration charges and tuition fees.
Accommodation
AU provides accommodation for students both on campus and outside campus. Off-campus accommodation is only for male students.
The fee for accommodation varies for double or triple occupancy basis and is about Rs.81000 per annum.
Scholarships
The University awards several scholarships in the form of fee remission to outstanding students.
Here the students have the opportunity to pursue a Dual Degree Programme in conjunction with some of its top partner universities.
Infrastructure
AU has good infrastructure, providing an ideal environment for young minds to explore new ideas, and encourages creativity.
It has amphitheater classrooms, spacious seminar halls, on-campus residential accommodation for faculty and staff, food court, departmental store, fitness center etc.

Admission Process
Admission process comprises 2stages: Stage I: Candidates are required to appear for AUEET conducted by the Alliance College of Engineering and Design.
Stage II: Candidates are required to appear for a Personal Interview.
After the admission process, candidate will be shortlisted for Personal Interview. All shortlisted applicants are required to appear for the Admission Selection Process at the Alliance College of Engineering and Design at the Alliance University.
Selection Procedure
Selection of candidates is based on merit in the Alliance University Engineering Entrance Test and Personal Interview or on the basis of scores in any one of the following: JEE Main 2014; JEE Advanced 2014; Karnataka CET 2014; COMEDK 2014; or any other state-level engineering entrance examination.
