DASA UG 2025 Counseling: Dates of Counseling, Eligibility, Seat Allotment Outcome, and Cutoff, Registration Soon

The Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) UG 2025 counseling process is scheduled as follows:

Counseling Dates:

• Registration Start Date: Second week of June 2025
• Seat Allotment Rounds: Four rounds, including a special round, are planned.
• Final Seat Allotment Result: Expected by the end of July 2025

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Biology.
• JEE Main Requirement: A valid JEE Main score is mandatory.
• Age Limit: Candidates should be born on or after October 1, 1996.
• Nationality: Open to foreign nationals, Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs).

Seat Allotment Outcome:

Seat allotment will be based on candidates’ JEE Main ranks. The allotment process includes multiple rounds, with the final seat allotment result expected by the end of July 2025.

Cutoff:

The DASA UG 2025 cutoff will be released after each counseling round. It will include both opening and closing ranks required for admission into the participating institutes. The cutoff represents the minimum marks required for qualification and admission.

Registration:

Registration for DASA UG 2025 is expected to begin in the second week of June 2025. Candidates can register online through the official website at dasanit.org. It is recommended to review the information brochure carefully before filling out the application form.

DASA UG: What is it?
The top Indian universities offer undergraduate engineering and architecture programs through the Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) program. Candidates who satisfy the qualifying requirements will only be admitted via the DASA system. The JEE Main ranks that the candidates received would be the foundation for DASA scheme admissions.

DASA 2025 Application Procedure
The online application form will be made available. The candidates will not get the application form by mail, email, or other means. It is advised that applicants thoroughly read the information pamphlet before completing the DASA UG application form 2025. Inaccurate information on the application form will result in the candidate’s application being denied. There are several steps involved in the application process, including registration, completing the application, uploading a photo and signature, paying the application cost, and submitting the completed form.

DASA 2025 Qualification Standards

DASA Criteria for Academic Eligibility
Applicants must have completed all twelve courses in mathematics, physics, and one of the following subjects: biology, chemistry, computer science, or biotechnology from an educational program approved by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
Those who plan to take the qualifying exam in the aforementioned disciplines during the 2025 academic year and anticipate receiving their results no later than November 2025 are also eligible to apply.
Candidates need to be JEE Main qualified.
DASA Age Limit Requirements: · Applicants who were born on or after October 1, 1996, are qualified

DASA Residential Requirements · Applicants studying abroad or in any other country, including India

Based on the merit list, candidates will be contacted to participate in counseling. For various courses, different merit lists will be made public. Based on their marks and the choices they made, candidates will be ranked. The DASA UG counseling 2025 process consists of several steps, including selection locking, registration, filling out choices, seat assignment, and so on. Candidates must report to the designated institute and pay the requisite amount to secure their seat when their seat is assigned.

DASA UG 2025 Deadline
Following the conclusion of the counseling procedure, the admission body will make public the DASA UG cutoff 2025. DASA 2025: Reserving Eligibility
A total of 15% of seats fall under the DASA supernumerary quota, with 5% of those seats designated for Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf (CIWG). The tuition price for candidates admitted under the CIWG category at NITs and IIEST Shibpur is INR 1,25,000 per year, payable in INR or the equivalent in US dollars. Conversely, applicants who are accepted into CIWG-eligible institutions outside of NITs and IIEST Shibpur must pay tuition at the same rate as in-state Indian students at such institutions, either in INR or the equivalent in US dollars.
