KEAM 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should first review all essential requirements before applying for KEAM 2022, regardless of whether they meet them or not. The admission criteria to KEAM reflect fundamental aspects such as age and scoring requirements for the exam, etc.

Birth:

Applicants must be of Indian nationality. OCI / PIO can also request KEAM.

Applicants who wish to be admitted to study programs (professional courses) are divided into Keralite, NK – I (non-Keralite I category), and NK – II (non-Keralite II category).
Age criteria:

The minimum age of applicants must be 17 years old as of December 31 of the year of admission.

There is no age limit for courses like Architecture, Engineering, and B.Pharma.
For engineering courses:

The candidate must have completed grade 12 with a total score of 50% in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) and 50% in Mathematics separately. OR THEN

Applicants must have passed an upper secondary exam with at least 45% grades to be admitted to self-funded public / private engineering schools for an administrative fee.
For architecture courses:

The candidate must have completed the twelfth year of studies with an overall mark of 50% and have taken mathematics as a compulsory subject at a recognized university. OR THEN

Applicants must be 10 + 3 (diploma in all fields of study) with at least 50% of the total points and have studied mathematics as a compulsory subject. OR THEN

Applicants must have obtained the International Baccalaureate Diploma with an overall grade of 50% and have studied mathematics as a compulsory subject after ten years of schooling.

Applicants must have a valid NATA 2022 scorecard to enroll in Course B.

For medical and related courses:

MBBS / BDS / BSMS: The candidate must have acquired the 12th year with a total of 50% degrees in PCB (physics, chemistry, and biology/biotechnology) and 50% in biology/biotechnology separately.
BAMS:

The candidate must have completed the 12th year with a total score of 50% in PCB (physics, chemistry, and biology) and 50% separately in biology.

BAMS / BHMS: Candidate must have acquired the 12th year with a total score of 50% in PCB (physics, chemistry, and biology) and 50% in biology separately.
BVSc & AH:

The candidate must have completed the 12th year with a total score of 50% in PCBE (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English).
B.Sc. (Hons.) Agri., B.Sc. (Hons) Forestry, BFSc:

The candidate must have acquired the 12th year with a total of 50% grades in PCB (physics, chemistry, and biology) and 50% grades in biology separately.
B.Pharma:

The candidate must have completed the 12th year with a total score of 50% in PCB / PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Mathematics) and 50% separately in Biology / Mathematics.
