8 Ways to Pace Yourself in the SAT Subject Test

8 Tips to Pace Yourself in the SAT Subject Test

Are you aiming to do SAT Subject Test soon and very anxious about your pace in the test duration?? Then do not need to worry.

TestprepKart experts suggest you the 8 tips you need to follow to boost your pace while taking the SAT Subject Test. The tips are as follows:

Tip #1: Stick to the schedule. Plan a strict schedule in a way that you will be completing a certain portion of the questions in the first quarter and some portion in the second quarter etc. Check every now and then, according to your schedule. Solving 60-85 questions in a one-hour duration isn’t a small bet. So schedule a plan that fits your Subject Test.

Tip #2: Start working on the answers as soon as the test time begins. You’re allowed to read the instructions and the test directions carefully in the test booklet before the test time begins.

Tip #3: Maintain a regular and steady pace from the beginning to the ending of the test. Firstly, answer the questions that you’re aware of as they consume less time and move on to the puzzling questions which might need more time to solve.

Tip #4: Make educated guesses if you are unsure about the answer. Firstly, cross out the options that aren’t probably the correct answers and make educated guesses. If you believe it is unlikely possible to answer a question, skip it and move on. You’ll be penalized with 1/4th mark for each wrong answer in the SAT Subject Test.

Tip #5: Quit the puzzling questions in the test and move on to the next one. Since puzzled questions consume a lot of time, don’t try to answer them in the row. You can get back to these questions after answering all the simpler questions. But mark/check them on the test booklet as you’ll be able to find them later.
