The Scholastic Assessment Test popularly known by the abbreviation SAT is the most popular admission yardstick for Undergraduate (UG) courses in the USA and other European countries. Schedule for Indian/NRI students
In Middle East and India the SAT test is organised in October, December, March and May, that is 4 times a year. A valid passport is a must for Indian/NRI students to apply/ appear for these examinations.
Usually, students take this exam after 12th grade. Even though technically you can take SAT exam multiple times, the chances of winning generally are on first or second appearance. Whereas Students can take up to three Subject Tests on one testing date they are not permitted take the SAT and the SAT Subject Test on the same day.
Application Submission
As a thumb rule, the registration should be done online on the College Board official website 4 weeks prior to a test date. But earlier submission is possible and advisable.
