All about Cambridge International Education (CIE)

Cambridge International Examinations is the world’s largest provider of international education programs and qualifications for 5 to 19 years old. Cambridge qualifications are recognized worldwide as evidence of academic ability. Every year, thousands of learners gain the Cambridge qualifications they need to enter the world’s schools. Cambridge teaches students to think for themselves, preparing them for the next stage of their studies – which they can do anywhere in the world.

 

Cambridge International Examinations offer and conduct examinations and qualifications which are especially open to students at registered CIE Test centres. Cambridge International Educations for 5 to 19 year olds is divided up into four stages:

  • Cambridge Primary
  • Cambridge Secondary 1
  • Cambridge Secondary 2
  • Cambridge Advanced

 

Cambridge International Examinations qualifications are recognised for admission by UK universities including Cambridge University as well as universities in the United States, Canada, European Union, Middle East, West Asia, New Zealand, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and around the world.

 

Cambridge International Examinations also offer Normal (N) Levels which are taken before the O-level in Singapore. It also offers Cambridge Pre-U, an alternative to the A-levels in the United Kingdom.

      Some advice:

      If possible, I would recommend you to borrow the above books from someone or get a second hand copy. If a friend is also giving the same exam, divide the cost and share the books. These books are expensive and I don’t see any need to spend so much money on them. You don’t need the latest version, an older version will also work just fine. I prepared from 2011, 2013 versions.
      If you are a serious JEE aspirant, the Subject tests would be very easy for you. So just run through all the material and then start giving practice tests. The more practice tests you give, better will be your score.
      You don’t need to attempt all questions for an 800. You can score full marks without attempting all the questions. I left 2–3 questions blank in all exams and still managed to get a perfect score.
