Note: You do not require any prior knowledge with respect to the topic in order to write your essay. In fact, the essay does not necessitate you to share the knowledge which you have.

 

What Kind of Essay Should You Write?

Your response should scrutinize the author’s choices in putting forwards the argument rather than the informational content of the passage. You will want to talk about how the author assembles the argument rather than restate what the argument is.
