SAT ENGLISH SECTION

There are a total of 96 questions and a time limit of 100 minutes for the English section.

SAT READING SECTION 

The reading section of the SAT test includes 52 multiple-choice questions in 5 passages and has given a time limit of 65 minutes. 

The kinds of questions that come in this section are divided into Command of Evidence, Words in Context, and Analysis in History/Social Studies and Science.

The questions from the passages are classified on the following basis – 

One passage comes from an American or international work of fiction.

One passage from the US founding documents or Great Global Conversation.

A pick of passages on Economics, Psychology, and Sociology.

And finally a pair of passages from Science.

Students are suggested to go through the passage thoroughly and then answer the questions.

SAT WRITING SECTION 

The total number of questions that this section comprises is a total of 44 multiple choice questions in 4 passages and the time limit for this section is 35 minutes.

The kinds of questions that come under this section are divided into Command of Evidence, Words in Context, Analysis in History/Social studies and in Science, Expression of Ideas, and Standard English Conventions.

The topics of passages that students are going to face in this section are Career, Science, Humanities, History, and Social Science.

Students are required to revise and edit passages.
