1. The digital SAT will be more flexible and secure, for students as well as for the educators.
2. If a student loses connectivity or power, the digital SAT has been designed to ensure they won’t lose their work or time while they reconnect.
What will remain the same?
With many changes during the SAT examination, a few factors will remain the same.
1. The focus of the examination will be the same, that is, to test the student’s knowledge and skills, which are an important part of their career building.
2. The score will remain at 1600 for the overall examination.
3. The tests will be conducted in schools or at test centers with an invigilator, and not at home.
4. Students will continue to have access to free practice and preparation resources, irrespective of the texting platform.
5. Students will continue to be in touch about their scholarships.
6. Continue support for the students during the test days.
Importance of the SAT examination
1. The SAT examination puts forward the achievements and skills of a student that helps them further with their college applications and admissions through scholarships.
2. SAT scores are globally accepted and recognized.
3. The students can appear for the SAT exam as many times until they secure the desired score, however, it is recommended to appear for as many fewer attempts as possible.

How to register for the digital SAT ?
Registrations will be available for the Spring 2025 exam (March-May 2025) very soon. In order to be notified of the registration details, follow the below steps:
Step 1: Create a college board account.
Step 2: Check the box to get the notification via email.
Step 3: You can add another recipient to be notified of the registration of the digital SAT.
