PSAT to SAT Score Calculator Formula

A simple formula to convert your PSAT score to an SAT estimate:

Estimated SAT Score = (PSAT Score / 1520) x 1600

For example, if you scored 1200 on the PSAT : Estimated SAT Score = (1200/1520) x 1600 = 1263

This is a rough estimation, and your actual SAT score can vary based on test conditions, preparation, and other factors.

PSAT [Eligibility, Syllabus, Exam Structure, Test Dates]

The PSAT test is of three types: PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10, and PSAT/NMSQT. In 2021 approx 3.6 million students took this test because this program offers millions of dollars in scholarships. The PSAT 10 is mainly taken by high school sophomores and the PSAT 8/9 is for eighth and ninth graders PSAT/NMSQT students can also qualify for the National Merit Scholarship program with their test scores.

PSAT Eligibility: 

One PSAT Exam attempt is allowed per year. PSAT applicants must be undergraduate students. Candidates like to take the PSAT in their 11th and 12th grades since doing well on it can help them qualify for the National Merit Scholarship in their junior year.
