During the Test, Keep Your Mind in Control

Here’s the checklist you need to keep in mind during the test:

  • Be on time at the test centre. If you won’t be able to go to the centre on time, you won’t be able to attend the test. So leave very early at home so that mishaps and traffic jams shouldn’t show any impact on your test.
  • Always be positive. Stick to a mindset that you’ve prepared as good as you can and you’re getting a good score. If you worry about the lack of preparation, you’ll screw up your test.
  • Manage your time in the test. Focus on the questions you’re answering. Don’t let your mind wander. The more it wanders, the more you will have to pay off.
  • Focus on your own test. If you’re stuck on a question then do not think to look at the students how they’re doing and are they busy answering their questions. If they’re answering well, then they mightn’t be answering the same question that you’re puzzled with and they mightn’t be taking the same test. So don’t look around and waste your time. Concentrate on your own test instead of others.
  • Make educated guesses in the test. Educated guesses always help when you’re doing multiple-choice questions. Don’t make random guesses. Guessing randomly might lower your score. So the best approach is to eliminate all the choices that you know are wrong. If you’re unlikely to eliminate any option, then just skip that question.
